Our media teams at each venues were looking for those stories that make us smile.

Warriors know no fear

There was an unexpected guest at the Spanish training session on Monday night at the Magvassy Hall in Györ. When the players were already packing to leave, a little mouse was suddenly spotted in the stands. But there was no shouting or screaming as one might have expected. The 'guerreras', or warriors as their nickname translates to English, stood strong. They know no fear.

Clear roles

EHF Young Reporters Franziska Hänlein (left) and Merle Schaack had a chance to catch up with EHF President Joan Brihault at the opening press conference in Varazdin on Monday.

And Brihault wasted no time introducing himself. "You know who I am?" he asked. "I'm not a young reporter - because I'm no reporter." Thanks for clarifying this, Mr President!
